Another illegal vessel landing, Police reporting
Providenciales, Turks and Caicos Islands – March 15, 2018 – Police and Immigration Officials are investigating the landing of an Illegal Haitian Sloop, March 15th, 2018 around 3:00 a.m. According to Police reports, the sloop landed in the North West Point area in Providenciales. Reports are that a two-engine boat dropped off around 30 Illegals near a beach in North West Point. A total of six illegals were apprehended for processing.
The Royal Turks and Caicos Islands Police Force are appealing to anyone with information into illegal sloop activity, no matter how small, to please contact the Chalk Sound Police Station at 338-5901, 941-8082, 911 or call Crime Stoppers anonymously at 1-800-8477.
