Resumption of Flight Operations in Grand Turk

PROVIDENCIALES, Turks & Caicos Islands, Monday, January 15, 2018– The Turks and Caicos Islands Airports Authority announces the resumption of flight operations at JAGS McCartney International Airport, in Grand Turk as of today.

Air Navigation services were negatively affected yesterday by the fire that occurred inside of the Grand Turk Control Tower. The Airports Authority has worked assiduously to restore services to the nation’s capitol to allow air traffic to flow freely. We remain committed to the safety of aircrafts, passengers, staff and other users of the airport as this is always our focus.

The Authority regrets any inconvenience caused and passengers are asked to contact their respective airlines for flight scheduling.
