Men arrested for cocaine and marijuana in Freeport

Freeport, Grand Bahama – November 27, 2017 – An American man was arrested on American Thanksgiving day after he was found with cocaine at Freeport Harbour.  The man reportedly had 1.1lbs of the illicit drug in his possession, the cocaine is said to be with a street value of $11,500.

A day later, a Bahamian man was arrested by Grand Bahama Police in a separate incident at the Western Air airport terminal, said to be with seven pounds of marijuana, a value of $7,000.

The 31 year old was said to have had the drugs hidden in his luggage and it was ‘intel’ which led officers to search the man last week Friday.
