Turks and Caicos, July 7th –  The three men who were held for the shooting armed robbery on April 10 of former police, Alboin Williams are going back to Haiti for certain now after their day in Immigration Court.  The three detainees – Reginald Presil, Wilbert Almonor and Fritzner Prevalus – were last weekend released from Her Majesty’s Prison to the Immigration Department which was set to send the trio to their country of origin but not before answering to Judge Carlos Simons who yesterday found them guilty of overstaying in the TCI.

The crime carries with it a two year jail sentence or a $10,000 fine or both.

The men will not pay the fine or serve the sentence, they will be sent back home.

Judge Simons waived the two year sentence, but that will only stand if the men never return to the Turks and Caicos Islands; if they do come back, they suspended sentence will be unsuspended and Presil, Almonor and Prevalus will have to serve their time.

The men were employed at Sunny Foods, the Amanyara Resort and one was running a Jitney.

Once the deportation order is sent, the three will be sent home; they for now are held at the South Dock Road Detention Center.
