Two names are circulating already as the presumptive candidates, if you will, for the People’s Democratic Movement All Island slate.
We know already that party leader, Sharlene Robinson, Derek Taylor and Josephine Connolly will re-offer as national candidates in the 2016 General Elections; but two more will be added to round out the PDM’s five all island.
The official word comes tonight at the PDM Convention kick-off party at Kalooki’s in Blue Hills; but the choices include a civic leader and retail professional, while the other is a fresh face and entrepreneur.
The PDM convention runs today into Saturday under the theme, Victory is a Must.
