Education Minister, Akierra Missick said there are no TCI students currently on college scholarship studying in Orlando, Florida where there was a shooting rampage on Sunday which is now on record as the worse on US soil.
The act of hate against homosexuals and act of terrorism against Americans by a confessed extremist was condemned by the Deputy Premier, who said this to Magnetic Media: “People are free to live their lives as they choose as long as they do not break the law and I want to express my profound sympathies to all of the families affected.”
While celebrating the stride that a woman is for the first time poised to run for President of the United States, Missick said this act of hate takes the US backwards.
