The level of violence in armed robberies is increasingly concerning as the latest incident out of Grand Turk reveals that the culprits beat the barmaid in her face and on her body with a baseball bat.
Police say four men entered the Ocean View Bar in West Road shortly after midnight Wednesday and took the entire cash register and a woman’s handbag but that was not enough; they went on to beat the woman working at Ocean View who now has injuries; thankfully that woman has been treated and discharged from hospital.
Police need help in finding the culprits.
