Legislation is coming to dictate the age and condition of cars to be permitted on TCI roadways but according to TCIG; those laws are not yet activated.
In a notice to the general public, it was explained that there have been no changes to the Customs Tariff in relation to the importation of vehicles into the TCI. It was also explained that there will be consultation first and that the public will be informed in advance for the best possible transition to the new standards.
It is proposed for there to be a block on motor vehicles over 10 years old.
