In four months, the Minister of Education is hopeful that the administration block at HJ Robinson High school will be ready for the new academic school year.
A fire on January 29 gobbled up much of the building and all of the new furniture and fixtures which had been placed into the complex.
Hon Akierra Missick told the nation today that the ground breaking and blessing of the site combine to present a happy moment for the school.
The Minister warned that the area will now be noisier, but beckoned for understanding as Public Works pushes for a September completion of the re-build.
There were thank yous to those who moved the process along quickly; among the entities praised for expediency was the Ministry of Finance.
It is reported that $2 million will be spent on the reconstruction of what was a new block.
Police have still not classified the fire, but arson is widely suspected.
The surveillance video has not been released; the students records were also all destroyed in the fire.
