A number of TCI traditions will hold up this coming holiday weekend including what is one of the longest running customs, the Big South Regatta, which delivers, says organizers on three days of fun and culture.

It’s the 49th year for the home coming festival, which began as an annual event following the 1966 visit of Queen Elizabeth II to South Caicos.  Not only will there be a pageant and sail boat races; but there will be speed boat races, diving contests and our favorite – horse and donkey rides.
Magnetic Media was told by organizers that TCI Ferry will discount their regular rate to $90 for the weekend and that newly opened, Long Bay Express is offering a special on 93 Octane Super Unleaded Plus from Friday at noon to Saturday at noonfor personal boats which will need to fill up.
