The TCI’s Sonia Bien Aime is unstoppable in her climb up the ranks and impressiveness as a female footballer in the region.
In a TCI Sun Newspaper article, President of the TCIFA reveals that resounding support for her as an executive at the CONCACAF level continues.
Forty-four year old Bien Aime is quoted saying, “I am honoured and very privileged to be given and overwhelming vote of confidence from 27 of the 35 voting members for the CONCACAF Female Representative on the FIFA Council.” End quote. This role means that all women’s issues and progresses will be championed by Sonia.
She said in that exclusive in the Sun, “I now have an opportunity to continue what I have started as advocate for gender equality and empowerment of more women in leadership positions.”
