Zika scarier, CDC asks for $1.9 Billion to combat mosquito disease

There is big, bad news related to Zika, it is confirmed now, for sure the mosquito borne virus causes microcephaly in babies and sees the onset of Guillan-Barre syndrome and worse, the CDC last night said Zika is more frightening than originally thought.

Hundreds of thousands of cases are forecast for Puerto Rico and the US confirms that seven cases of the virus were spread through sexual intercourse.

The CDC is asking Congress for $1.9 billion.

The Summer is forecast to make things worse for the fight against Zika spreading.

Officials late last week confirmed that the TCI remains Zika-free.
