Police say they need witnesses in the case where a 55 year old woman was attacked while returning to her hotel in Grace Bay around 9pm on Saturday.
Two males clad in gray and black hoodies, said to be around 6’ 3” and 5’ and of slim build sprang from bushes in an attempt to snatch the woman’s purse.
Police say in the report today, “The victim said one of the men began pulling the bag that was on her shoulder. The suspect then dragged her on the sidewalk pavement causing her to sustained injuries about her body, but was unable to take her purse and ran away when they saw a vehicle approaching.”
Add to this, the Police explain that a 53-year-old male attempted to assist the tourist lady, but that man was attacked too, and struck in the face with a handgun. It is another shocking report for Provo; that woman, well she refused treatment at the hospital.
