The Revenue Department continues to work toward greater efficiency and productivity. In fact, the Assistant Commissioner of Revenues, Hilda Caley and the team of seven members from the Revenue Department recently returned from a week-long training in St. Kitts and Nevis.

The group gained knowledge in the jurisdiction’s tax operations, how to improve capacity building and professional development, understanding best practices when it comes to tax administration, how to build a network relationship and they worked with other participants in information sharing.

The Permanent Secretary of Finance, Athenee Basden said; “The Turks & Caicos Islands Revenue Department continues to undergo reform in an effort to strengthen capacity, tax administration and compliance…. The opportunity afforded to the Staff is invaluable and we will continue to support these initiatives.”
