Providenciales, 04 Mar 2016 – Miss Teen Universe Turks and Caicos, 19-year-old Amber Hall represented the Turks and Caicos Islands at the 7th Edition of Miss Teen Universe Pageant in Costa Rica. The Ministry of Education, Youth, Sports and Library Services is excited to inform the public that Miss Amber Hall was awarded Miss Congeniality and placed in the top 16 overall.
Miss Hall was crowned the Miss Teen Turks and Caicos 2015/16 at the 2nd Annual Miss Teen Turks and Caicos on Saturday, September 26, 2015 in Providenciales. Miss Hall noted that she was quite proud to represent Turks and Caicos at this pageant and was thankful for the experience and the friends she was able to make because of it.
The Hon. Akierra Missick, Deputy Premier with responsibility for Youth commented that; “The Department of Youth and I have been proud supporters of Miss Teen Universe since its birth in 2014.
“This is part of the Departments mandate to the Youth Development Action Plan in supporting youth excellence and empowerment. I am very proud of the accomplishment of Amber and her team for the additional visibility this will bring to the Turks and Caicos Islands”.
The Ministry and Department of Youth wishes to extend congratulations to all those who were responsible for Amber’s participation and success at this event.
