Providenciales, 05 Feb 2016 – Zika has done the dastardly now; three are dead in Colombia according to that country’s Ministry of Health; which also shared that 2,100 pregnant women had the virus.

These are the first Zika-related deaths since the mosquito borne illness started making headlines. Airline and cruise ship companies are now also allowing pregnant or preparing to be pregnant staff to opt out of stops to destinations where Zika cases are recorded.

Sperm banks in the US are now in the process of drafting a Zika virus policy, since it has been confirmed that the illness which has the potential to give babies brain damage, can also be spread through sex.
