Providenciales, 25 Jan 2016 – The PDM is looking for a few good men and women ready to run in the 2016 General Elections.
National Party Chairman, Doug Parnell issued notice today asking members of the People’s Democratic Movement who are interested in offering on the PDM ticket to make themselves known.
There is criteria, including that one must be members of the Party in good standing, be registered voters and the interested must satisfy the qualifications for membership of the Legislature as laid down by the Constitution of the Turks and Caicos Islands.
Parnell in the Monday press release said that potential candidates will have to apply in writing to the Candidates Committee at the branch level and that despite this open call, the recommendation for candidacy must come from a staunch PDM member.
