Providenciales, 12 Jan 2015 – The Filipino Community says it will take $8,000 to get slain Bobby Labante’s body home to his family in the Philippines. Labante was killed on December 27th while at home at Bryant Cox apartments in Five Cays, mysteriously.

On that night roommates say they were attacked in home invasion but Police are still boggled by the case and have not even classified the investigation due to the conflicting accounts of what happened.

Forty-six year old Labante was the sole breadwinner for his three children and wife; a memorial was held at the local Catholic church in his memory over the weekend, according to a PTV8 news report.

While the Filipino community here is looking to the employer and National Insurance to carry the bill of sending Lubante’s body home; they are hoping for donations for extra funds which can be provided to his family now left somewhat destitute.

If you want to donate you can reach out to the Filipino Community and if you have any information in this case, where two men were reportedly stabbed by masked assailants, please contact 1-800-TIPS, that’s 1-800-8477.
