Providenciales, 02 Dec 2015 – Getting to zero is the new TCI initiative as the world moves towards no more new cases of HIV and AIDS.

The HIV Prevention Unit in the Turks and Caicos joined with DEMA and Big Blue to plant 17 mahogany trees with the help of students from 17 schools. We asked if the stride to get to zero was too ambitious.

“It is not impossible, once there is life, there is still hope. Noting is impossible but in order to get to zero we have to work towards that.”

World Aids Day is held every December 1st and this year marked 27 years since the commemoration first started.
