Providenciales, 24 Dec 2015 – It is Christmas Eve and it is just hours now to a long holiday weekend and the time of year to remember the birth of Jesus Christ, a most prominent season on the Christian calendar.
While there will continue to be shopping and saving for the consumers across the islands, there are still some community parties planned including one to be hosted by Wheeland District, Member of Parliament Hon Delroy Williams.
Williams says the event will take place at the recently refurbished and named Kareem Walkin Basketball court in the community. ‘Christmas in Wheeland’ is set for 4:30pm to 8pm later today and features games, toys, food and bouncing castle.
Monday is also a public or bank holiday in the Turks and Caicos.
