Premier to host Seniors party in North Caicos

Providenciales, 31 Dec 2015 – There is still some holiday cheer being spread to the people of the Turks and Caicos Islands; there were a few later Christmas events including the party for Wheeland Children at the Kareem Walkin Basketball court on Christmas eve; on Christmas Day, Core Resources in North Caicos held a community Christmas fun day and this past Sunday, December 27 there was the Alice and Alice shopping center free Christmas Gospel concert.

Now, this Saturday, the Premier, Hon Dr Rufus Ewing will travel to North Caicos for a Senior Citizens New Year’s lunch. Not only has it been arranged for the seniors to be bused to the Horse Stable beach for the holiday event from 3 to 5:30pm but there will be entertainment from home and abroad.

A community party will follow from 7:30pm to midnight on Saturday January 2nd. District Commissioner, Cynclair Musgrove in circulating information about the party said the theme is “Out with the Old, in with the New 2016”.

On Friday here in Provo, a Caribbean styled concert is set for the down town ball park. The down town jam is New Year’s Day and features Tiffany Thomas & Noel Browne; Elroy, Dez, Melio & Kaz, Prime DJs and Caribbean Music Farm from Miami, Florida. The concert is a ticketed event.
