Providenciales, 10 Nov 2015 – Taking care of the natural environment of the Turks and Caicos continues to be of paramount importance to the Hotel and Tourism Association and Karen Whitt, said this coming December, TCI Shines will continue its good work.
“This year we decided to partner with the tourist board and make this a part of the Tourism Month activities, We‘re doing clean up campaigns in Providenciales, we’re going into Grand Turk and we’ve actually extended to the other islands to join in this initiative with us. We hope that through this message and through some of the other competitions that the Tourist Board and the Ministry of Tourism are doing with the islands that everyone will accept the fact that this really is something that is everybody’s business and everybody’s responsibility to keep our islands beautiful by nature…”
TCI Shines was started eight years ago and also happens on Earth Day.
