Providenciales, 27 Nov 2015 – It was a big moment for the PNP Administration as the government not only broke ground Thursday night on phase two of construction of the Long Bay High School but presented to the people on one of their ‘go for the gold’ campaign promises.

The multi-million dollar construction is finished its first step and while the adults in attendance rained down accolades for the delivery of the first public school in the country in two decades, it was the perspective and enthusiasm of the students which spoke volumes.

Students:
“What I think about this school is this school is so beautiful…”

“When I pictured it in my head it was good, but when I came to this place it was better…”

“I hope we can obtain a nice education in this school and get more children to this school…”

“How its finished now, it wasn’t how it looked before, it looks way better…”

“I think this school is going to be the best school in the TCI…”

Those youngsters will be led by Carlton Mills, new principal and will take up occupancy of Long Bay High in January.
