Providenciales, 19 Nov 2015 – Manufacturing jobs are coming for Grand Turk thanks to a new memorandum of understanding signed yesterday in the Capital. The manufacturing facility is poised to transform the country’s construction industry as the partnership will reportedly produce stay-in-place concrete wall forming systems for easier construction, and lots more.

Paul Day of Grand Turk Development Enterprise and Howard D. Nash of Creative Investment Holdings Ltd have teamed up to establish the factory which will not only produce eco-friendly items to be distributed in the Turks and Caicos, but to the wider Caribbean and South America.

The company with its multi-pronged offerings announced in a media statement that around 100 jobs should be created from the fabrication, welding, engineering, plastic recycling, injection molding, marine insurance and shipping companies.

Paul Day, who has been a Grand Turk resident since 1993, explained they are “committed to conserving natural resources and reducing the environmental impact of buildings. Our products will be designed to be environment-friendly and energy-efficient…”

The new factory will be located in South Dock, Grand Turk.
