Providenciales, 05 Nov 2015 – The Caribbean Food and Wine festival will this year feature a famous rum from the Dominican Republic, we spoke to fifth generation descendant of the Brugal family, 28 year old Jassil Villanueva.
“We’re involved in the blending, the formulation, in the liquid lab just making sure that everything has accomplished the chemical and physical characteristics. But also just approving that the liquid goes to the bottle and doing the follow up…”

A Master Blender, Jassil said the selection of Brugal in the Turks and Caicos will impress this weekend at CFWF.

As for what the 127 year old rum will bring, “we’re re-launching Brugal extra dry, A so we are going to feature a lot of different drinks. We are going to be a part of a lot of the different events, we will be a part of the women’s luncheon,” said Anette Mourier, Senior Marketing Manager, WEBB.

Wine Cellar hosted that welcome meet and greet on Wednesday.
