Providenciales, 12 Oct 2015 – Today a TCI flag day motorcade will take place simultaneously in all of the islands at noon; it is supposed to be a display of national pride for not only the indigenous islanders but those who have made the TCI their home.
In Providenciales, the starting points are Blue Hills at the Amanyara junction, in Five Cays at Bugaloo’s and in The Bight from Kingstown.
Organizers are encouraging residents to be at their choice starting point by 11:30am as all of the groups will make their way in fanfare to the down town ball park.
This is the second year for National Heritage Day, which by act of Parliament now replaces Discovery Day.
