Providenciales, 02 Oct 2015 – When Cabinet met on Thursday, there was instruction for the country to go ahead and advance regulations at the Planning Department, which could allow for the construction of not just one, but future 12-storey height buildings in Provo.

Cabinet reports that it received a presentation from the Planning Department on the findings of a Consultative Report following public consultation on proposed variations in the height and density of new buildings in Providenciales.

The Department explained that “having considered the findings, recommendations and views of the public, there will be and I quote, “…necessary changes to the TCI Development Manual and to prepare a paper for the next meeting of Cabinet with proposed recommendations for re-designation of zoning areas for new applications for buildings up to 12-storeys in height.”
