Providenciales, 13 Oct 2015 – NEMA reports that they are monitoring 5,000 Bahamians affected from as many as seven different islands by Hurricane Joaquin.
Bahamian Officials yesterday in a press conference explained water has been restored to affected islands with new desalination systems en route to replace the irreparable.
Doctors and nurses have been visiting regularly since last week; health inspections and vector control activities are also activated by Environmental Health and BTC says 38% of cell sites have been restored.
