Two Tropical Depressions and an area of disturbance are in the Atlantic Basin under the watchful eyes of the National Hurricane Center. Tropical Depression nine, located in the central tropical Atlantic about 955 miles east northeast of The Lesser Antilles is moving toward the west-northwest near 8 mph and this motion is expected to continue for the next couple of days. The tenth Tropical Depression of the season formed over the Eastern Atlantic, presently moving at 9 mph, it is located about 870 miles west southwest of The Cape Verde Islands but currently poses no threat to land.

A large area of disturbed weather extending from the eastern Gulf of Mexico across the Florida peninsula and an area of low pressure has developed east of the northern Florida peninsula overnight. There is some potential for the low to develop into a subtropical or tropical cyclone during the next few days as it moves slowly northeastward off the southeast coast of the United States
