Weather Watch Weekend; MoneyGram cuts costs to send to Dominica

Providenciales, 11 Sept 2015 – MoneyGram’s executive vice president of business development, Pete Ohser, today announced that MoneyGram will discount sending rates to Dominica in the aftermath of Tropical Storm Erika. Ohser said: “The entire MoneyGram family is committed to helping the island return to a sense of normalcy, and it is our hope that these reduced transfer rates and future education grants will contribute to the overall efforts in helping to restore the island’s infrastructure and way of life.”

In the weather forecast Tropical Storm Henri looks to be loosing organization over the North Atlantic. According to the Bahamas Dept. of Meteorology, Henri is moving toward the north-northeast at 20mph. An increase in forward speed is expected today followed by a turn toward the northeast by Sunday with some additional acceleration.

Currently, Tropical Storm Henri is forecast to become post-tropical on Saturday, however, Henri could dissipate later today.
