Providenciales, 04 Sept 2015 – Tropical Storm Fred is downgraded to depression status now and the Department of Disaster Management and Emergencies in the TCI says it is gearing up next week to commemorate the 7th year since devastating Hurricane Ike.
Meanwhile the tropics have seen that area with a low chance for development strengthen a bit.
It is south of the Cape Verde Islands and moving west at 15 to 20mph. The system is showing signs of organization now and is forecast to continue to develop.
