Shooting victim identified as Raymano “Bally” Taylor
Despite reports stating otherwise, police say there have been no arrests in Taylor’s death and plead with residents of the community to provide information.
Taylor is originally from Grand Turk but recently moved to Dock Yard according to family and friends on the scene. He was a former employee of the TCI Fire Department and had one daughter.
Several family members traveled from Grand Turk on Monday morning upon hearing news of his killing. Taylor’s death comes on the heels of a national ‘Stop the Gun Violence Youth Forum’ hosted by the Ministry of Education where Deputy Governor, Anya Williams said the country’s murder rate has doubled within the last year.
