Providenciales, 18 Sept 2015 – Managers of the Bight Park issued a notice to inform the public of the altered opening times for the popular beach side park.
DEMA explained that The Bight Park will now be accessible seven days per week between 5am to 7pm; adding that Thursdays are still reserved for the Island Fish Fry.
DEMA explained the setting up of this new time schedule is in an effort to allow for safe access to the Bight Park. There is also a request and reminder that public activities must cease by 7pm, which also means vehicles will have to vacate the parking lot or risk being locked inside until the park is re-opened the following day. Groups or individuals can formerly apply for use of the park.
