Providenciales, 01 Sept 2015 – Hurricane Fred has been downgraded to a Tropical storm and a watch on the tropics reveals there is yet a new system with low chance for development hovering around the Florida panhandle or northeastern Gulf of Mexico.

Central and North Florida are forecast to get heavy rainfalls from the weak surface trough. As for Fred, there are no coastal watches or warnings as it moves away from the Cape Verde Islands.
