Providenciales, 14 Sept 2015 – Governor Peter Beckingham who in a statement said that he was deeply upset to learn of the untimely passing of Dr. Conrad Howell, over the weekend describes him as a beacon of light in TCI.
The Governor expressed that he joins the nation in mourning his tragic death. In a note to Brickell Howell, Governor Beckingham spoke about Dr. Howell’s wit and good humor as well as his powerful presence at the National Hero’s Day commemorations just a few months ago in Grand Turk.
Governor Beckingham said that the presence of Dr. Howell would stay with TCIslanders forever in the beautiful words of the National Hymn, This Land of Ours.
