Providenciales, 28 Sept 2015 – The Fuel Factor Rate continues on its downward spiral as Fortis TCI shows rates decreasing for the third consecutive month.
Fortis TCI reveals that the rate from the previous month is at .14cents. Fortis says rates are based on the price of fuel at the time it is purchased from Sun Oil Ltd. and is subject to fluctuating world market prices.
The company says it believes “any new or additional forms of generation should not increase cost to customers, or decrease safety and reliability in service.”
Residents are reminded that the current rate will be reflected on their September 2015 power bills.
