Providenciales, 28 Aug 2015 – So what is happening with Tropical Storm Erika, well according to the Bahamas Department of Meteorology Erika is spreading heavy rains and gusty winds into the Dominican Republic right now.
A Tropical Storm warning remains in effect for the Turks and Caicos and the Central and Southeast Bahamas.
All of the TCI and The Bahamas, namely Long Island, Cat Island, the Exumas, San Salvador, Rum Cay, Inagua, Mayaguana, Acklins, Crooked Islands, Long Cay and Ragged Island will be the first to feel the brunt of the system.
