Providenciales, 28 Aug 2015 – More than 1,500 sandbags donated to residents from the TCI Red Cross this week in light of Tropical Storm Erika.
The organization also disbursed some 60 Response Shelter Kits, National Intervention Kits, Community Emergency Response kits and first response kits which will be used by National Emergency volunteers to respond to those most vulnerable after the storm.
The bags were shared between Provo and Grand Turk and include flashlights, notebooks, batteries, aid kits and other essentials.
