Providenciales, Aug 2015 – When House Members offered thoughts on the challenges in a modern TCI when it comes to crime; the Governor’s Appointment member female, Hon. Lillian Missick was her usual candid self when she put the onus on parents.
“You ask where the parents are? They’re having fun somewhere, they’re in the beauty salon spending hundreds of dollars putting in weave, they are doing their finger nails, they are somewhere in a shop somewhere with a bag over their elbows trying to run a race. And I am not a politician so I can say this… running race with someone who have and leaving their children to bring themselves up; Mr. Speaker that is why we are where we are.”
