Providenciales, 17 Aug 2015 – The House of Assembly convenes today in Grand Turk and it is expected to be a heavy hitting two days of debates with significant bills and probing parliamentary questions on the agenda.
The Immigration Bills, despite current public consultation, are being pushed through preliminary readings.
The HOA agenda also reveals there will be a couple of questions on the Special Investigation and Prosecution Team and its request for more money.
There will be report from the Public Accounts Committee, the Appropriations Committee and the Finance Minister who is seeking a budget supplementary.
The meeting will be carried live on national radio from 10am.
