Former Planning Boss points to challenges with going taller with hotels in TCI

Providenciales, 13 Aug 2015 – Former Physical Planning Director, Clyde Robinson attended that public meeting for the increase in height proposal; revealing that the plan is actually for a 14-storey resort … not a 12-storey and that there are serious considerations to be made including how the TCI would give fire and other emergency services to a structure of that height.

Robinson, who beat corruption charges brought against him in 2013, said he believes the five acres of land allotted for the Ritz Carlton hotel is too small and was concerned that environmental factors would affect the project.
