Providenciales, 31 Aug 2015 – His name is now, Hurricane Fred… with winds speeds of 85mph and moving at 12mph in a northwest motion in the Atlantic Basin.
The storm wasting no time and has gained strength and causing a Hurricane Warning for the Cape Verde Islands. There are heavy rains associated with the system, there is expected to be a storm surge which will cause coastal flooding in those islands but Fred is also expected to lose strength beginning tomorrow.
