Sign Up now for National Trust Multi Cultural Camp

Providenciales, 15 Jul 2015 – As the TCI continues to develop children to become environmental champions and proponents, the Turks and Caicos National Trust shares that their upcoming camp will expose youngsters to a variety of natural and cultural habitats and experiences for ages 7 through 12.

Winema Sanders, PR & Education Officer with The Trust shared that among the activities is exposure to the shark conservation initiative, the Caicos Pine Recovery Project, there will be indigenous literature and storytelling, including featured presentation of the newly released book by Bradley Handfield; “Auntie Fannie, Mattie & the Talking Potatoes,” the children will enjoy cultural music including learning how to dance to Rip Saw sounds, there will be an island expedition and mock barnyard fire.

There is a $55 fee for non-members and $50 for members for the multi- cultural camp which begins July 27th at the Department of Youth Affairs office in down town Provo.
