Providenciales, 15 Jul 2015 – Salt Cay not only got a new clinic on Friday but saw a cadre of government officials on island to open its new Reverse Osmosis plant. The clinic is staffed by a nurse with a visiting doctor and a Salt Cay resident told Magnetic Media that the Premier and Health Minister announced at the opening of the refurbished facility that he is hopeful to get a vehicle for that clinic which will aide in moving the senior citizens, in particular, to the clinic for medical care more easily.
Salt Cay, home to about 50 to 60 people, will not see that new RO plant bring water directly to their homes via pipes and a plumbing system, but the new plant which has been promised for years, does give them a reliable water system.
