Providenciales, 30 Jun 2015 – Today was the final day to submit entries for the seven national awards prizes which the National Honors Committee has been managing under the auspices of the Office of the Premier.
The organization, which launched a campaign in April had been open to accepting names and suggestions and applications and evidence of those worthy of these national accolades.
Among the options are: Order of National Hero; Order of Turks and Caicos Islands, two Patriotic Awards, Long Service Medal, Meritorious Service Medal and Natl Young Achievers Medal.
The group is not responsible for deciding who is selected for the awards; that responsibility belongs to the Cabinet.
