Providenciales, 02 Jul 2015 – It was and is an historic moment when Superintendent Kendall Grant graduated as the first Turks and Caicos Islands police officer to attend FBI College in Quantico, Virginia.
Beyond that, Grant was a standout, being voted by fellow officers as the most inspirational student. Grant also won awards as top achiever in leadership, spirituality, wellness and vitality.
It was a 10-week training at the academy, renowned for its curriculum and Supt Grant was exposed to sessions in advanced investigative skills, management and fitness training at the FBI academy.
There were over 48 thousand graduates, and in a police media statement it was shared that one of the highlights for Supt Grant was when the TCI flag was raised at the ceremony on Friday June 12.
