Providenciales, 22 Jun 2015 – With some 300 students prepared to leave high school as the Class of 2015, it is good that someone is considering job placements for the group; even if temporarily. Not all will be able to be absorbed at the TCI Hospitals, but last week it was announced that nine students will be taken in for an in depth feel of clinical and non-clinical careers. The program, though short, started today and according to the Hospitals Education & Training Manager, Jacqueline Cox the plan is to broaden the scope of professional opportunities. Education Director, Edgar Howell was on hand for the phase two announcement and explained: “Hopefully, the one week spent at the Cheshire Hall Medical Centre will create in them an excitement to go back to their schools and really engage in the sciences and move on to further studies in healthcare.” This phase two experience will take place at the Cheshire Hall Medical Center and will allow the students to participate in an intensive mentorship, coaching and practical exercises involving senior level staff with video presentations, forums, tours, exhibitions, CPR/BLS introductory training and on the job experience.
