Providenciales, 23 Jun 2015 – David Smith, convicted in relation to a Ponzi Scheme returns to court today to fight a US extradition order. Last week, Magistrate Clifton Warner upheld an extradition of Smith on money laundering and on Friday the Director of Public Prosecutions, John Masters says the US now has the authority to extradite Smith and to deal with him according to their home laws. Masters also said David Smith has to satisfy a $20 million dollar unpaid confiscation order in the TCI. David Smith continues to challenge that extradition.
