Providenciales, 11 Jun 2015 – The Police is still seeking help in the case of Jeff Walkin, who was killed in a crossfire of bullets allegedly between himself and an accomplice and police officers. Today another appeal comes from the RTCIPF, the request says: “Officers from the Royal Cayman Islands Police Service in conjunction with the Royal Turks and Caicos Police Force is seeking your assistance in helping us with the investigation into the death of Jeff Walkin which occurred about 1:00am Saturday 6th June 2015 along Granny Hill, Five Cays.” The appeal continues with: “We want you to tell us what you saw and heard. All information will be treated in the strictest of confidence. If you have any information that could assist in any of these cases please contact us.” While the Cayman Police Commissioner has not resisted commenting on this investigation; TCI Police Commissioner James Smith has been invisible and save for an initial comment to say he was bringing in the Caymanian team, has been quite silent on the matter.
