Providenciales, 23 Jun 2015 – A bought-out Bahamasair flight will bring in over 100 delegates from The Bahamas for the Biennial conference of the Assemblies of God; including former Bahamas Christian Council President and head of AG churches for the two nations – Rev. Dr. Patrick Paul. It is the first time the event will be staged in the Turks and Caicos Islands and a number of country, civic and church leaders will attend the opening at Community Fellowship Center tonight at the church on Leeward Highway. These conferences, which are held every two years serve as a motivation and revival for AG church leaders in the two countries and this year carries an evangelism theme.

While the speakers are a dynamic mix from around the region and the US; there is a sense of missing as the key note presenter was to be Dr. Myles Munroe who perished in a plane crash in Grand Bahama with eight others last November. Community Fellowship Center, pastored by Bradley Handfield with Rev Woulieme Pompilus heading up the Creole ministry, has been preparing since last year for the contingent with members and leaders hailing from Abaco, Exuma, Grand Bahama and Nassau. The group arrives around 11 this morning; the services are open to the public and begin tonight at seven.
